During the Three Weeks between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av, our calendar invites us to experience what is lacking, lost, broken and missing in ourselves and the world. 

 

As always in Judaism, such experiences are not an end in themselves, rather they serve as opportunities to further heal ourselves and increase our capacity to be vessels and agents for joy, love and repair.
