To continue deepening our practice, we’re delighted to share this month’s Hineni with Ami: Yoga and Jewish Spirituality, guided by the energy of Adar.
Adar arrives as an invitation into joy — not as something imposed from the outside, but as something cultivated from within. Our tradition teaches: Mishenichnas Adar, marbim b’simcha — when Adar enters, joy increases. This is not a denial of life’s tender or uncertain moments, but a quiet insistence that joy can coexist alongside them, widening the heart even in times of vulnerability.
Adar is a month of hiddenness and revelation, of masks and unexpected turnings. It reminds us that what is concealed may yet unfold, that transformation often moves beneath the surface before it becomes visible. It is a time of playful inversion and sacred masquerade — when we are invited to loosen fixed identities, to encounter ourselves anew, and to step into a deeper, quieter sovereignty.
This month’s practice weaves yoga with embodied Jewish wisdom, inviting you to cultivate spaciousness, resilience, and gentle joy in the body. Ami’s teaching meets you where you are, helping you soften into presence, reconnect with breath, and discover the subtle ways joy can emerge - not as performance, but as a steady inner practice.
Come as you are — and as always

Integrating Teachings
As always, the teachings echo the themes of Rabbi Daniel’s teachings on each month. These teachings help us embody, integrate, and ground deeper into the profound wisdom of the cycles of Jewish time. They remind us that spirituality is not just an abstract concept but a lived experience.
In this way, we can embrace the essence of Jewish mysticism. We learn to integrate these ancient teachings into our daily lives. This integration fosters a deeper, more embodied spiritual practice.
