You’re invited to tune into the next session in our Hineni parshah series: accessible embodied Judaism and yoga inspired by the weekly parshah and Chassidic wisdom!
This week's parshah, Shoftim, opens with Moses telling the Israelites to appoint judges and leaders for their communities.
The Ba'al Shem Tov teaches that our emotions are like a messenger sent by a king. It's easy to get stuck reacting to the messenger and miss the message. But the messenger is only there because the king yearns to connect with you. So instead of getting stuck on the emotion itself, use it as a doorway to what's underneath it.
We'll explore this theme in our practice: how to notice the messenger, and how to move toward what it's directing you to, using embodied movement and breath. We’ve also included a 5-minute embodiment practice for you to take these themes into your week!
Accessible class, open to all. No prior experience necessary. Join the recording below…
